Popular Nigerian highlife singer, Obinna Okoro, known by his stage name, ‘Pardon C’ meaning ‘Pardon and Conciliate’ attributed to ‘Forgive and make Peace’, is a passionate musician who hails from Amagu Oru East LGA , Imo State Nigeria and born into a family of eight in Owerri imo state Nigeria.
He began his music journey from the church where he was a member of the choir at a tender age of 10 years. While in school, he performed in many talent competitions, won quite a few prestigious awards at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri where he had a degree in Biotechnology.

The serial hitmaker joined forces with multiple award-winning highlife singer Pardon C to deliver this self-produced new single tagged ‘Package’. ‘Package’ was well-nurtured by top-notch music doctors to bring the new sound to life and pleasing to listeners, guitar by Africa’s favorite Fiokee, mixed and mastered by Zeeno Foster. Discussing how ‘Package’ came into a reality, Mr. C.G.O disclosed that he reached out to Pardon C during his latest visit to Maryland in the US, “the beat was created on my laptop, we joked around and we playfully created the beat together at Pardon C’s Maryland residence, without entering the studio.” Pardon C’s decision to duet with Mr. C.G.O was gingered by his love for great sounds and production, “Mr. C.G.O is a great producer, the way we created the beat, I couldn’t resist but to grab the microphone to deliver some great lyrics on the beat,” the ‘Bele Bele’ crooner said. Nigerian highlife singer Pardon C has added new plaque to his shelves of luxury awards, as the diaspora based singer recently grabbed an award in the category of ‘Best Music Video’ for his ‘Emergency’ music video at the just held Next Generation Awards 2017.
This comes a day after the release of his Independence single dubbed ‘Eyes Don See’, a song with conscious message for the federal government of Nigeria. According to the music act, ‘EyeDon See’ is a wake up call to Nigerian government, narrating the current hardship the masses are going through in the country.The Nsquare Boutique fashion icon also beseeched the government to solve the many problems of Nigeria. Pardon C added that he’s not happy with the current situation of Nigeria, imploring the government to try harder to make life better for the masses. “Each time I listen and watch the news, the stories they relay about Nigeria are mostly unpalatable ones, I can’t stop wondering how Nigeria lost its path to greatness to become a struggling country,” Pardon C said. Elaborating further, he said “the unemployment, bad economy, lack of electricity and other problems Nigerians are facing are giving me heartaches and that’s why I’ve decided to call on the federal government with this song before Mr. President gets busy with the Independence Day celebration activities.” Finally, having highlighted some of the woes facing Nigeria, he reaffirmed his love for the country and assured the citizenry that the country will definitely get better.
