Pardon C wins big at Next Generation Awards

Nigerian highlife singer Pardon C has added new plaque to his shelves of luxury awards, as the diaspora based singer recently grabbed an award in the category of ‘Best Music Video’ for his ‘Emergency’ music video at the just held Next Generation Awards 2017.

This comes a day after the release of his Independence single dubbed ‘Eyes Don See’, a song with conscious message for the federal government of Nigeria. According to the music act, ‘EyeDon See’ is a wake up call to Nigerian government, narrating the current hardship the masses are going through in the country. The Nsquare Boutique fashion icon also beseeched the government to solve the many problems of Nigeria. Pardon C added that he’s not happy with the current situation of Nigeria, imploring the government to try harder to make life better for the masses. “Each time I listen and watch the news, the stories they relay about Nigeria are mostly unpalatable ones, I can’t stop wondering how Nigeria lost its path to greatness to become a struggling country,” Pardon C said. Elaborating further, he said “the unemployment, bad economy, lack of electricity and other problems Nigerians are facing are giving me heartaches and that’s why I’ve decided to call on the federal government with this song before Mr. President gets busy with the Independence Day celebration activities.” Finally, having highlighted some of the woes facing Nigeria, he reaffirmed his love for the country and assured the citizenry that the country will definitely get better. Recall that the Next Generation Awards 2017 was staged on Saturday, September 30, at Maryland, United States of America.
